Every June, Providence's Pride march fills downtown with color and noise. But the Faces of Pride project is about what happens the other 364 days of the year — the bookstore that doubles as a support group, the songwriting workshop for queer teens, the drag performer mentoring the next generation.
This story follows two of the project's subjects, Jordan Reyes and Devon Park, as they reflect on what it means to build permanent community in a state small enough that everyone eventually finds each other.
